It’s nearly time to get together with our quilting neighbors from Winnipeg. This year, we are crossing the border to Canada on April 12, guests of Manitoba Prairie Quilters—a new date and a new take on the event. Deadline to register was March 1. Itinerary: We will board a coach bus early Saturday morning (~6:30) and travel 150 miles north to Winnipeg. The Manitoba Prairie Quilters have reserved a room for both Guilds to meet, have lunch, and socialize at the Victoria Inn Hotel & Convention Centre. This is in conjunction with their Quilt Reflections Quilt Show where there also be a Merchant Mall and Boutique. You will have a chance to visit with our northern neighbors, be inspired by beautiful quilts and do a little shopping.
