The 2025 Quilts on the Red quilt show will include two challenge exhibits. Quilters chose one or more, put on their thinking caps, and create some amazing art!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Here\u2019s your chance to create a challenge quilt featuring previously used fabric or other recyclables. While recycling is not a new concept, \u201csustainable\u201d is a current-day social goal to use resources responsibly and in a way that considers the needs of future generations. Examples of previously used textiles would be denim pants, shirts, household linens, and vintage tea towels. Enter your items under Category 15<\/strong> (no fee). In 2017, these two local groups collaborated for the first time and have been creating art inspired by each other\u2019s work ever since. \u201cSeasons\u201d is this year\u2019s theme. This round, the watercolor artists invited Art Quilters in the North Star Quilters Guild to create a art quilts inspired by a watercolor painting.
